Air freight runs on a deadline the airline sets. Miss the cargo cut-off and the shipment misses its flight; freight that's landed needs to clear the terminal and keep moving. Either way, the drive to or from the airport is the part still on the clock.
Everything keys off that deadline: when the freight gets picked up, and how much cushion to leave for traffic or a backup at the cargo dock.
What we handle
Airport freight is a trucking job before it's a flying one. We run the surface leg: outbound, to the airline's cargo terminal ahead of the cut-off; inbound, off the terminal and moving as soon as the freight lands.
At the terminal we check in with the cargo handler and hand the freight over. It rides one truck from start to finish, tracked live.
The plane won't wait
An airline cut-off rarely moves, so hitting it is the whole job. It's easier when the person who plans the run is the one driving it, reachable by phone if something shifts en route.
